His students at Georgia Southern University get earfuls of information from this fly guy, especially about river critters and their habitat. He is a professor of Biology there. Checo is also on the board for Ogeechee Riverkeepers, a nonprofit that works to protect, preserve and improve water quality of the Ogeechee River. Obviously with a like mind in helping our environment, and a love for running you can see why Checo was offered an ambassadorship! He’s always rallying up a group to join in a fun run, or join in an exciting race.
Wave at Checo as he flies by, then grab some brews with him post race!
