ABOUT THE COURSE

The race course is 13.1 miles USATF certified.

​Approximately 90% of the course is on paved road. The remainder of the course is flat, hard-packed unpaved roads consisting of dirt or hard packed crushed oyster shells.​

Please note that the course is on open roads.

Roads will not be closed to traffic, although, there are not many vehicles on Daufuskie Island.

Always stay on the side of the road marked by the course flags.

TIMING

The race will be chip timed with a chip start by MCM Timing.

Please place your race bib on the front of your body.

MEDICAL TENT

A medical tent will be located at the finish area. Please be aware of this in case of any medical needs.

WATER + GEL STATIONS

There are three aid stations and toilets at the 2.4, 5.5, and 9.2 mile points. These water stations are across the road from one another. There is another aid station at the 12 mile mark. All four aid stations will have GU Energy products.

RESTROOMS

Restrooms on the course are at these mile markers: 

2.4 mile mark - Aid Station 1

4.5 mile mark - Freeport

5.5 mile mark - Aid Station 2

6 mile mark - Fire Station

8.8 mile mark - Fare Station

9.2 mile mark - Aid Station 3
