Haig Point Ferry tickets may be purchased from the link below at any time. Your purchase is your ticket - your name will be on the manifest if you purchase your ticket before 3 PM the day before race day. Please bring confirmation of purchase if you purchase after that time. There are no physical tickets.

On Race Day: Runners and spectators are to catch the Haig Point Ferry over to Daufuskie Island from Haig Point Embarkation at 10 Haig Point Court, Hilton Head, SC on race day. The ferry arrives a few yards from the Starting Line and the Runners’/Artisan Village - no golf cart rental is needed.

For the Weekend If You are Staying on Daufuskie: If you are staying on Daufuskie but outside of Haig Point for the race please note that you will have to catch the public Daufuskie Island Ferry. The Daufuskie Island ferry arrives at Melrose Landing on Daufuskie Island. From there you will have to make arrangements to get to your rental property as well as the race start within Haig Point. The race start is in Haig Point. Shuttle service will be provided from the Haig Point South Gate to the race start. If you make arrangements to stay on Daufuskie Island before the race you will still have to pay a ferry fee but that may be through the rental company you go through.
Please note that you are limited to what you may bring on the ferry. Tents or canopies are not allowed on the ferry. You may bring a small cooler or backpack/gym bag and small chair. The ferry will be packed…so, please be mindful of others.
If you are staying on Hilton Head and would like to join us for the Friday Night Pasta Dinner or the Sunday Recovery Mimosa Brunch:
As long as you have purchased a ferry ticket for Saturday, you may ride the ferry over Friday evening or Sunday morning to attend the Dinner or Brunch. Please check-in at the Welcome Center and let them know you are a runner (and your guests). The Front Desk will give you a temporary pass. Once on Daufuskie Island, please proceed to the Clock Tower to catch the shuttle over to the Clubhouse (where both events are taking place). The shuttle will also return you to catch your desired ferry back.

Personal Boat to Daufuskie Island
If you plan to boat to Daufuskie Island for the race please call 843.686.2000 to make a reservation for space at Haig Point’s community dock which is a short walk to the start / finish line. There is a $25 docking fee per boat. Please call in advance, then upon arrive see the Mansion attendant to check in.
